3rd Regional Workshop in Bamako
Wednesday, 28 July 2010 08:56

This meeting has been an excellent opportunity for all the partners involved in the FSCA projects’ implementation to assess the projects’ execution and exchange their experiences to capitalize good practices and learn from the deficiencies occurred.

The workshop has also highlighted the importance of creating a network with other development partners working in the domain of commercialization and value chain, in order to improve the management of the projects’ resources and skills.

Another major topic was the strengthening of the Inter-country Coordination Unit with the aim of providing a technical evaluation of success factors and good practices in the national projects and developing a mechanism to share the lessons learned.

As far as this sharing is concerned, the exchange of information with partners and NGOs through the organization of inter-country technical meetings and the use of technology (internet, radio, etc.), is a main feature in the perspective of a regional harmonization of national projects.
