OVERALL OBJECTIVE: 
Increasing the revenue and reducing the poverty of rural population, especially of the most vulnerable groups such as women and children.

SPECIFIC OBJECTIVE:
Diversification, intensification and development of local agricultural products and short cycle breeding products of farmer-based organizations.

PROJECT AREA:
40 villages in Oio and Bafata regions.

COMPONENTS:

• Diversification and intensification of agricultural production and short cycle breeding;
• Improvement of storage and conservation capacities, processing and commercialization of products;
• Capacity building of the farmers and their groups.

BENEFICIARIES:
Farmers and farmers' organizations of the above mentioned regions, where poverty and food insecurity are the highest in the country.
